Hello, and thank you for considering our program.
We at DCS School of Flying understand that while learning and safety are of utmost concern, flying is expensive and you don't want to pay more than you have to.
But rushing to get your certificate and failing to truly learn the important lessons along the way ends up costing you far more in the long run.
We are here to teach you how to fly.
Most of our students aren't headed for the airlines. Some may be, but most are looking to be able to take the family to the beach, or take a buddy to get that famed '$100 Hamburger.'
So yes, we work on the rules and regulations, but most importantly for you -- we train like we are actually going to fly. That means a lot of flights where we actually GO someplace and come back.
We know that you are
anxious to get started.
But you may be nervous flying. Many of our students have never even BEEN in a small plane, let alone taken the controls.
We offer an initial DISCOVERY FLIGHT to make sure that flying is for you.
During this time YOU will take the controls for a time and actually fly the airplane. This also gives you a chance to make sure that airsickness won't be a problem!
